RUOE provides an accessible and inclusive service to create a place for every child.  They deliver activities to meet the needs of all young people using a therapeutic approach. All services promote social skills, improving resilience, reinforcing positive behaviour, developing a sense of social responsibility, and improving confidence, self-belief, emotional well-being, and independence. 

The HOPE Mothers, a group of individuals with firsthand experience of separation near the time of birth, are integral to the Giving HOPE Project. Their involvement has been instrumental since the project's inception. Initially engaged as an advisory group for Born into Care study, their commitment to utilizing their experiences to positively impact other mothers and children has led to the development of the HOPE Boxes.
